Belfast Harlequins is the perfect place to bring family and friends together to celebrate a special day in your life.

Our new wedding packages for 2016 feature a wide range of styles. Amarc’s beautiful home cooked specialities and a variety of special options and upgrades will make your special occasion even more memorable.

Our Venue:
The Harlequins lounge (50-140 guests)
The Lounge is a modern contemporary room and is ideal for a plated dinner or reception menu. The room is accented with a built in dance floor and a black granite bar. Our lounge also offers a lovely panoramic view of the green fields which surround the clubhouse.

Wedding packages:
Bronze package 
from £20pp (minimum 50 people £1000)
Our Bronze package offers:

  • Round tables of up to 8 people, standard banquet chairs, cutlery, wine glass and coloured paper napkin.
  • PA system and mic for speeches and toast.
  • Table numbers.
  • Guest book table, gift table and cake table.
  • Tea and coffee reception.
  • Built in dance floor.
  • Fully licensed bar with late licence until 12.30.
  • Free car parking.
  • One hot choice from our fork buffet menu served with rice/baby boiled potatoes and green salad.
  • One dessert choice from our fork buffet menu.
  • Tea and coffee.

Silver package - from £35pp (minimum 50 people £1750)

  • Our silver package offers:
  • Round tables of up to 8 people, standard banquet chairs, cutlery, wine glass and coloured paper napkin.
  • White linen table cloths for the tables.
  • PA system and mic for speeches and toast.
  • Table numbers.
  • Guest book table, gift table and cake table.
  • Tea and coffee and shortbread reception.
  • Built in dance floor.
  • Fully licensed bar with late licence until 12.30.
  • Free car parking.
  • A four course carvery, choice of one starter, a choice of two meats, chefs potatoes and vegetables, choice of one dessert, a vegetarian option and tea & coffee.
  • One bottle of house red and white per table.
  • Evening food.

Gold package - Minimum 50 people. 
Silver served 3 course meal from £45pp £2250
Silver served 4 course meal from £50pp £2500
Silver served 5 course meal from £55pp £2750

Example menus:
3 course

  • Vegetable soup with homemade wheaten bread.
  • Sauté Breast of stuffed chicken with pan fry jus.
  • Seasonal vegetables and potatoes.
  • Profiteroles with warm chocolate sauce.

4 course

  • Chefs’ chicken liver pate on croute with cranberry puree.
  • Roast tomato and red pepper soup with homemade wheaten bread.
  • Roast rib eye of beef and Yorkshire pudding glazed with baby onions and mushroom gravy.
  • Seasonal vegetables and potatoes.
  • Cheese cake with fresh cream (choice of flavours).

5 course

  • Smoked salmon Caesar salad.
  • Cream of chestnut mushroom and parsnip soup with homemade wheaten bread.
  • Sorbet.
  • Medallions of beef fillet with Irish whiskey sauce. 
  • Seasonal vegetables and potatoes.
  • Sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce with vanilla ice cream.

All of the above meals are finished with tea, coffee and mints.

For our bronze and silver packages our Executive Chef who trained in Switzerland will offer a 20% discount on his bespoke wedding cakes.

Weddings frequently asked questions:
Are there room rental and set up fees?
The room rental and set up fees vary with agreed upon food and beverage minimum. These minimums change with day of week, group size and budget requirements.

How long do I have the space?
The space is hired in 5 hour slots. 
*please note that all music must end at 1am.

Can I have more than one food option?
Yes. All our weddings are bespoke and you can add to or take away items from any of our packages.

Am I allowed to use an outside caterer?
No. the only outside food permitted is a wedding cake/cupcakes or favours containing food items. A certificate of liability or waiver will be required for these items.

Can I bring in my own wine or champagne?
Yes. However there will be a corkage fee of £8 per bottle.

Securing the date, deposit and payments.
A deposit is required to secure the date. Initial deposits are 10% of estimated charges and are non-refundable. 50% of estimated charges are required 90 days prior to the event. 100% of estimated charges are required 2 weeks prior to the event. Should the final count increase after this date or if any other charges incur payment will be due 2 weeks prior to the event. A Credit card number is required to be on file to bill any outstanding charges from your event. If your deposits are not received by the due dates your reservation will be subject to cancellation.

Do I need a wedding planner?
We will assist you with planning the menu, floor plan and execution of the reception. If you would like additional assistance you may hire a planner
